First Impressions of Sea Beans
Located at the stunning Terranea Resort, Sea Beans boasts a charming atmosphere that immediately caught our attention. With a host of delicious desserts and a menu that seems to promise a delightful experience, we were excited to dive in and explore what this cute concept had to offer. However, our venture into the world of smoothies left us with mixed feelings.
The Smoothies: A Cold Disappointment
My husband and I opted for smoothies, anticipating a refreshing treat. Unfortunately, what we received tasted more like a cold juice slushy rather than the creamy, flavorful creations we had hoped for. The smoothies lacked the richness and depth that can make a drink truly enjoyable, and instead delivered a somewhat disappointing experience. It’s a shame, as the presentation made them look quite appealing!
The Butterfly Cookie: Cute but Average
Our daughter chose the signature butterfly cookie, which was definitely charming. It was a delightful sight and brought a smile to her face, but when it came to taste, it didn’t quite hit the mark. While it didn’t leave us raving, we appreciated the effort and creativity behind the dessert offering. It was nice to see that Sea Beans had a variety of other tempting desserts as well, even though we missed the mark on our selections.
While our experience with the smoothies at Sea Beans was less than stellar, the warm ambiance and range of other sweet offerings might still warrant a visit. There’s always hope for a better treat next time!
